Hello peeps.
How are YOU? Hope fabulously well and life is being good to you and yours. I am SO LOOKING forward to meeting up with my band again tomorrow and welcoming back Rob Hughes to the crew. As well as singing all the great songs from my new album, I’ve included a few goodies that I know you’re going to enjoy too (that's if you're coming to tomorrow's gig!).
I recently visited Obsidian, a fabulous wellness retreat in Bennisa, Spain. My friend Jackie Rawe suggested I join her for a spot of autumn cleansing of body, mind and soul. I only managed to squeeze in 4-days but those days were so transitional and insightful. We were on a diet of pure vegan juices and vegetable foods. I’ve come away feeling revitalized, full of energy and mentally so much clearer, and BUZZED UP of course!! We get our cars MOT’d why not our bodies? They too need recharging but on a more regular basis guys.
So, what’s coming up next? As well as tomorrow's gig at the Pheasantry, it is also the 4th Anniversary of me and Paul! On Monday 13 October, I will be attending my friend Lydia Foulkes’ event for the Lord’s Taverners. The Lady Taverners will be celebrating their 27th birthday with a Processo reception and a two-course lunch in the Fifth Floor Restaurant at Harvey Nichols. “Shop ‘til your drop at Harvey Nichols” is the call. Now that could be dangerous ladies! Credit cards to the ready!!!
Next month I will be headlining a very special jazz show and dinner event at the Hippodrome, Leicester Square. This will be the
Parkinson’s UK 45th birthday celebration. The Charity works tirelessly, trying to find a cure for this debilitating disease. I am sure there are many of us who have a relative, or friend who suffers from this condition. It’s great to know that there is help available. You don’t have to be alone.
